I had been coming to this place because the massage therapists I saw previously were excellent. The facility itself isn’t the nicest or the best maintained, but I was happy to overlook that because the quality of the massages made it worthwhile. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was a completely different experience. I was assigned a new (new to me) massage therapist, and sadly, the massage was very disappointing. I left feeling like I hadn’t really received a massage at all. None of the tension or pain I came in with was relieved, and my body still feels like it needs another session. To make matters worse, the prices have recently increased. I paid $90 for a 60-minute massage (including gratuity), and for the first time, I don’t feel like it was money well spent. If the massages were consistently excellent, I wouldn’t mind overlooking the appearance of the facility or the higher price. But after this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning. I get massages regularly, and I honestly can’t remember the last time I left feeling this disappointed. I’m genuinely sad because I was looking forward to some relief, but instead I left feeling exactly the same. But I’m excited for myself to find a nicer new spot, which also will be clean and pleasantly looking!
